The lodge, located on a small affluent of river Napo, called Manduro river, is very well maintained, the staff is always present, efficient and very kind, the food is good and genuine, the activities maybe are less adventuring than one could aspect *e.g. you will not see a lot of fauna*, but nonetheless really charming, and the guides *we knew Eduardo and above all Livio* are capable to trasmit you all their ancient knowledge of native people and can show you in a very impressive way how to survive in the jungle...and above all you can immerge yourself in a very armonious environment where the mind is free. |

Thank you sooo soo soo much for the fantastic experience. It absolutely exceeded my expectations. I think I was a bit worried that the pictures looked better than it actually was, but that not the case. The place was ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!! The huts were clean, comfortable. I the trails were amazing. I never thought I would be swinging on vines & having so much adventure on this trip. The food was amazing. I thought I would be scared to eat, because I didn't know how the food would be, but the food was absolutely delicious! My favorite was the carrot soup & the popcorn. I will recommend this place to everyone. Thank you sooo soo much. (also....i dont speak any spanish. thanks to my guide, javier I was totally in the clear) Thank you again times a million! It was fantastic!! |

The lodge and cabanas were lovely. The food was great, and it was appreciated to have vegetarian options. We enjoyed the hospitality of all the staff at the lodge. |

Disfrutamos muchisimo nuestra experiencia en Yarina Eco Lodge. La ubicacion era hermosa, los guias eran conocedores, y las habitaciones eran comodas. Yarina es mas asequible que otros hoteles de selva que hemos examinado, pero nos quedamos bastante contentos con la eleccion. |

It was a fantastic experience. My family really loved the experience - the hikes, looking for animals, the food, were all great, and we fell in love with Ecuador. One recommendation is to give the travelers the chance to buy stronger insect repellent before we board the boat to go to the lodge. The insect repellent we brought from the United States was not strong enough! |

Dear Yarina Eco Lodgel, let me share with you my extraordinary experience while in Yasuni rain forest camp. Everything was really well organized from the moment I stepped into the Coca airport. Everybody was very nice and very pleasant. What I want to point out is the way Mr. Ed Guzman and Mr. Winters work together. They both are excellent guides and their cooperation was exceedingly pleasant. One guides and one explains and they both give time to the visitors to enjoy the rain forest. Mr. Guzman is real expert on rain forts animals and especially insect knowing the names in English, Spanish and Latin. On one excursion (Rio Maduro in canoe after heavy rain) I went alone with Mr. Winters and the experience was unforgettable. How securely he managed the canoe in heavy, fast water and how he guided me walking through flooded rain forest. Again thank you very much for the unique experience. El lodge fue fantastico, el atmosfero, y la ubicacion, todo de alto nivel. Nuestro guia (Livio) sabia mucho de la selva y nos conto cosas muy interesantes durante el viaje. |

El lugar me pareció precioso! La selva está muy bien conservada y tanto las cabañas como la comida son excelentes. También fue fantástico contar con Winter como guía local ya que pudo contarnos muchas cosas del lugar y de la vida en la zona. |

We stayed at Yarina lodge from February 21st to 24th 2012. The lodge is not too far from Coca maybe 40 minutes by boat. It is probably one of the first on the Rio Napo. It gives you a very good feeling of the amazon. The cabanas are very comfortable and they have electricity at meal times and hot water 24 hours a day... but it is always hot so sometimes a cold shower is appreciated! The beds have bug nets and the nights are mild compared to the day. They also offer a blanket if you are cold at night! The meals are just great! 3 meals per day (with vegetarian options) and you get to try Ecuadorian recipes!!! They also grow some fruits on site. The staff and the manager are very helpful! |

Nos parecio un lugar muy acogedor y familiar, un muy buen lugar para estar en contacto con la naturaleza, la selva y la poblacion autoctona. Hay un espacio comunitario y comedor en el que compartimos con otros huespedes e hicimos amigos, rodeados de monos, loros parlantes y tapires. Nos sentimos muy comodos con nuestro guia Winter, quien nos dirigio hacia el interior de la selva y nos conto secretos sobre arboles que jamas nos hubieramos imaginado, nos mostro una reserva natural con boas, caimanes, aves y un lago, y visitamos a una familia indigena, que nos conto sobre su vida, nos dio a probar su comida y nos vendio artesanias. Antes de irnos hasta pescamos pirañas, peces globo, peces gato, cangrejos y peces perro y luego lo comimos!!! |

Excelente experiencia, vale la pena vivirla y disfrutarla. Todo fue un placer por el trabajo arduo que realizan las personas que laboran en Yarina, desde la persona que cocina hasta la que nos acompaña en cada ruta. El paisaje, los animales y las mejores personas se conjugan en Yarina para hacer de ese viaje algo inolvidable.... Y si que lo fue!!!. Gracias a la empresa por esa labor de conservacion, aun nos dan el gusto y la esperanza de saber que hay personas que aun nos importa el futuro de nuestra biodiversidad. Ya se que somos mas!!. Pasé tres días en la fascinante selva Amazónica, alojado en Yarina Eco Lodge. Las instalaciones son muy cómodas, pero sin desentonar ni agredir el paisaje natural y el medio ambiente. La atención en el comedor y los servicios de las cabañas son excelentes, y los guías son gente del lugar que conocen en detalle su medio y que guían a los visitantes con calidez y esmero, y aman lo que hacen. |

Les felicito la estancia en la selva fue magnifica, la comida una delicia, las habitaciones de primera, la comida deliciosa y el trato del personal estupendo, en fin los dias pasados en Yarina han sido inolvidables. De nuevo les felicito y muchas gracias por todo. |

Fue una aventura extraordinaria, vivir de cerca con la naturaleza, conocer de cerca la vida silvestre de la amazonia del Ecuador. La infrastructura por cierto muy natural. |

Hemos pasado unos días maravillos en el Lodge que nos han servido para comprender mejor la naturaleza y el mundo que habitamos. Nos ha enriquecido como personas. Estamos deseando volver y es una experiencia que yo recomiendo vivir a todo el mundo. Las personas que nos atendieron en cada parte de el viaje fueron amabilisimas en todo momento, conocimos su forma de vida, compartiendo experiencias con nosotros. Dejamos un pedazo de corazón en ese lugar. Esperamos volver para recuperarlo. |

Aunque ya conociamos la Amazonia peruana de un anterior viaje, el Yarina nos sorprendió por la armonia con la naturaleza, la belleza, y naturalmente la amabilidad y la cordialidad de todo su personal. En todo momento nos sentimos muy cuidados y respetados. |

Ir a Yarina Ecologe es una experiencia muy linda, las personas que estan ahi son personas muy cordiales, que estan prestos ayudar en todo lo que necesitemos, incluso recuerdo que cuando fui vi unos limones colgados en la mata y los quede viendo y llego un señor de los que trabajan ahi me dice si desea le puedo bajar, el señor de la mejor manera me dio, despues procedio a pelarlo me trajo la sal y todo... Muy buen servicio, son personas amables, sus cabañas son muy bonitas, si me pongo contar todo los momentos bonitos que vivimos ahi no termino hoy jajajajaja... Cuando pueda regresare... Me gusta todo de Yarina Ecolodqe... En fin les doy un 10/10... |

En realidad poseen un lugar paradisiaco y muy funcional. Mi unica observacion es quizas con respecto a la comida. Creo que esta deberia contar con platos a la carta e incluir en estos comidas tipicas de la zona. Si bien la comida que nos fue servida fue buena, siempre es mejor tener la oportunidad de escoger y disfrutar de lo que a uno le gusta. El hecho de que no exista un menu variado, limita el disfrute de la estadia. Por lo demas todo estuvo bien. Muchas gracias. |

We enjoyed our stay at the lodge and have refered friends already. I would suggest that you have snack items for sell in the "bar" as the days were long and there were no other options for food being on the river. The night hikes and boat trips were the best part and I wish we could have gone out several times. |

Chris, Nat (10yrs) and I loved Yarina Lodge and we chose it as it was not too far downstream from Coca. We enjoyed all the walks and trips we did from the lodge; it was great to see the visiting monkeys, snakes, birds and butterflies and be able to touch the tame tapir and macaw. The highlight was definitely the staff who worked there, who cooked yummy food and were very friendly. Jose our guide was fantastic and so informative. We learnt such a lot about Ecuador from him and in all our month of travelling, he was by far the best guide we had on our trip. Thank you Jose and all the staff at Yarina Lodge! |

Yarina was the perfect setting to feel the Amazon jungle. Monkeys in the morning, birds song all day and things rustling in the dense jungle at night. No distratctions, just nature. All of the meals were delicious and resting in on the hammocks as the sun died and the jungle came alive was spectacular. |

Eunice and I went to the Galapagos in 2010 with OAT which included a visit to the Amazon. Having read about it in the past, I thought actually seeing the "rain forest" was unique and worthwhile. Since it rains alot and the humidity is high, it is important to tell visitors to bring several changes of light clothing. It would have been neat to do a little fishing. |

It was a amazing trip for me and my son aswell. We saw many insect, bugs, caiman, birds and monkeys. And also a Tapir. The food was really great but my son doesnt really enjoyed it because he is afraid to taste different food. But I liked it. The bungalows was very nice and we both was very grateful to the insect net. :-) We sleep very well. I can not remember something that not was great. If I some day come back to Amazonas I really will go back to Yarina and really recommend it to other people. |
